Making a change to the itinerary for dinner in Muscle Shoals/Florence. After looking at the hotel restaurant, 360 Grille, it looks pretty pretentious with smaller overpriced portions. Great view and fancy. Would be awesome if I was looking for a place for the wife, but not so much for 4 guys who will probably be starving after travel and a day of golf.

I'm officially changing the itinerary to Ricatoni's Italian Grill. Looks like a great little Italian spot with healthy portions, brick oven pizza or pasta, good looking bar. This is our kinda place...

Man, I'm ready for it. Work is a beat down, it's hot, COVID sucks. I need a good, long golf weekend. I plan on eating, drinking, golfing during the day and relaxing by the pool in the evenings. Average highs in September are 84 during the day and 62 at night for NW Alabama. Here is a picture of the Marriott Muscle Shoals pool... can't you just see me in the bottom right of that picture...

When I set up this first leg, Oxmoor Valley was the least interesting to me. Ross Bridge looked the most photogenic (my homepage background is Ross Bridge), and Muscle Shoals with its majestic clubhouse and all the water made it attractive as well...but Oxmoor Valley is no slouch. Oxmoor Valley looks to be HEAVILY hilled by my standards and will have a lot of trees. This may be the most difficult course of the bunch!
